May in Montana: Momentum, Mission, and the Miles Ahead
As the ice melts off Flathead Lake and Montana shakes off the last chills of winter, The Frozen Chosen is heating up with purpose.
While spring brings longer days and warming waters, it also brings busier schedules for our board. Between family commitments, career demands, and community work, we’re all feeling the pace pick up. But even in the middle of the chaos, our mission remains rock-solid.
One of the most meaningful projects we’ve taken on this spring is the remodel of the Warren Childs Family home. It’s more than a construction project—it’s an act of restoration, support, and dignity for a family that deserves to feel safe, seen, and valued. We’re honored to come alongside them, putting hammers to nails and hearts into action.
And that’s not all.
Behind the scenes, we’re deep in planning mode for our biggest event of the summer: 4 Miles to Freedom—happening July 5th. This fundraiser isn’t just a run or a ride. It’s a rally cry. A symbolic journey for those breaking free from cycles of trauma, addiction, and hardship. Every step we take echoes with purpose, and every dollar raised helps us walk further with those on the path to restoration.
So as May unfolds, we press forward—with grateful hearts, calloused hands, and unwavering hope.

Together, we’re not just thawing the ice.
We’re igniting change.
