Looking Back on a Successful Summer and Looking Ahead

Updated: Oct 20

looking back successful summer

Now that summer is over, fall is in full force and rifle hunting season is around the corner, it's the perfect time to pause and reflect on the incredible season we've had. This past 4th of July was a true highlight, with our amazing donors coming together to raise over $20,000! The support has been overwhelming, and we are truly grateful for every single contribution. Your generosity has brought us one step closer to our goal of starting the Child’s Family remodel this spring.

While we’re well on our way, there’s still a need for additional funding to see this project through. We encourage those who feel called to help to continue supporting this cause. Every donation brings us closer to creating a space that will make a lasting difference in the lives of the families we serve.

As we transition into winter, it's important to remember the value of slowing down and reflecting on the past months. For me, one way I’ve been finding peace and clarity is through cold water immersion. With my own tank now set up at home, it's easier than ever to make this part of my routine. I’ve found that getting into the water has become a meaningful form of sacrifice, a way to center myself and focus on what truly matters.

I urge you to join me in this practice—whether it’s taking a plunge in your local lake, setting up a home tank, or finding another way to get back in the water. As we approach the colder months, it’s a powerful reminder of our resilience, our commitment to growth, and the importance of sacrifice in the pursuit of our goals.

Thank you again for being a part of this journey with us. Together, we’re making a difference, one step at a time.
